(With extra pictures) The crisis was ‘quite hard’, says former CEO Alice Huisman of Royal Huisman in SWZ Maritime's February issue, but the yard at Vollenhove, the Netherlands, seems to have moved on.

In 2015, the yard delivered two yachts: a 37 m cruising yacht to the design of Dykstra & Partners and the Germán Frers-designed 43 m sloop, Sea Eagle.  The order book contains a 20 m long daysailer, a 58 m sloop and a 56 m ketch while the Samurai and Adèle are being refitted.

SWZ Maritime’s editor Sander Klos interviewed former CEO Alice Huisman and her successor Roemer Boogaard on how Royal Huisman survived the crisis and what they foresee for the future. Subscribers can now read the full article in the digital issue.
