Jumbo's heavy lift crane vessel Fairplayer has completed the pre-installation and tensioning of a shallow water CALM buoy mooring system. This was done in 26-metre deep water for the Mersa El-Hamra terminal offshore Egypt.
The job included the pre-lay of ten Stevshark drag anchors and six chain moorings and the subsequent tensioning of the mooring legs up to 512 tonnes. Jumbo was awarded the contract by WEPCO/Micoperi.
