Security Awareness Training for Seafarers Now Available Online

Rood Boven Groen is the first company approved by the Dutch administrations to offer the STCW training Security Awareness (Regulation V1/6, paragraph 1,2 & 3 and section A-V1/6.4) completely online in an e-Learning environment. A secure id control makes it possible to follow the online training anywhere and anytime.

Online courses make travelling to a training location obsolete. The Security Awareness course was reviewed by the Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate (Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport). Upon completion of that review, the course complies with standards and training requirements such as The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, IMO Model Course 3.27 Security Awareness Training for all Seafarers (2012 edition), and STCW 1978, as amended.

Rood Boven Groen is a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) approved training institute and offers various maritime training courses for merchant and passenger vessels in accordance with the requirements of STCW ’78 (as amended). The courses are ISO 9001 certified.
