Royal Wagenborg has opened a new office in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, to expand its services in the southwest part of the country as well as in Belgium. The office will among other things support the company’s liner service to the Baltic.

With the MV Bothniaborg and the MV Balticborg, Wagenborg maintains a liner service from Terneuzen northbound into the Baltic suitable for RoRo, containers, breakbulk and project cargo. Until recently, the dutch shipping company outsourced the agency services for its vessels in the port of Terneuzen, but this will now be done in-house.

Wagenborg also seeks to service other vessels that visit the Zeeland ports. Later on, agency services will be expanded to the ports of Ghent and Antwerp. Next to promoting its liner service to Sweden, the Terneuzen office will also offer other services, such as logistics, shipping, towage and offshore.
