Spliethoff has acquired another P14-type vessel on Tuesday 15 December 2020. The vessel is renamed Pottersgracht and reflagged to the Dutch register.

The vessel was formerly named St. Georg and is a P2-1400 type vessel. With this latest acquisition, the Spliethoff P-Type series now consists of ten vessels – – three P8-type vessels of 20,100 dwt with a combined capacity of 800 tonnes and seven P14-type series of about 19.450 dwt with a combined crane capacity of 1,400 tonnes.

In October, Spliethoff also bought a P14-type vessel which now serves in the company’s fleet under the name Plantijngracht. This vessel was previously named St.Pauli, so it might have been bought from the same owner.

Within the Spliethoff Group a total of over seventy multipurpose and heavy lift vessels are available for the breakbulk, project and heavy transport markets. These vessels are operated in close cooperation between worldwide dry cargo specialist Spliethoff and heavy transport operator BigLift Shipping.
