The Project Cargo Summit 2019 is a wrap and SWZ|Maritime and Promedia Group thank everyone who attended! SWZ|Maritime welcomed visitors at its own stand at which it also celebrated the launch of its new website.

The organisation looks back at a wonderful edition with twice as many visitors and three times as many exhibitors, compared to the first edition in 2018. The Project Cargo Summit combined a high-level conference with a dedicated exhibition with workshops, right in the industrial heart of the port of Rotterdam. The event was visited by project cargo professionals from 44 countries with some visitors flying over sixteen hours all the way from the Philippines.

Launch of SWZ|Maritime’s New Website

In August, SWZ|Maritime’s new website went live. The new website was officially launched and celebrated at the Project Cargo Summit on Wednesday 11 September, with a short speech by Promedia Group CEO Joan Blaas and Chairman of the Schip en Werf de Zee Foundation Wim Veldhuyzen. Our website keeps you up to date on the latest developments in maritime industry and offers a wealth of maritime knowledge in its SWZ Archive, which dates back to 1918(!).

Ever-growing Dimensions of Project Cargo

At the conference, industry leaders shared knowledge and lessons learned through presentations and practical business cases. Main theme of the conference was how the industry can deal with the ever-growing dimensions of project cargo, especially in the wind industry.

Promedia Group is already looking forward to the next edition in September 2020. Do you want to be part of one of the most unique and dedicated project cargo events in the world? Make sure to save the date!
