Two Chinese passengers on the cruise ship Costa Smeralda in the port of Civitavecchia in Italy are not infected with the coronavirus. This means that all passengers are now allowed to disembark again.

The crew of the Costa Smeralda had raised the alarm when a Chinese woman contracted a fever. The 54-year-old passenger was then isolated. The Italian Ministry of Health reported on Thursday evening that the woman and her travel companion were not infected with the Wuhan virus.

The ship is in the port of Civitavecchia with 1000 crew members and 6000 passengers on board, including some 750 Chinese.
